A recent article that appeared in The Daily Mail cited a 21% rise in females undergoing minimally invasive VASER® liposuction to get their bodies bikini ready. They also estimated that more and more patients are opting for this procedure on more than one body part, resulting in full, head-to-toe body transformations.
The Daily Mail followed the VASER® liposuction journey of Kyla, a 27 year old who wanted to look leaner and feel more confident in her beach wear. “Rather than pinpointing one ‘problem area’ to target, more (patients) are opting to target multiple areas of our bodies in order to achieve an all over sculpted figure,” the newspaper reported.
“More and more female patients today understand that a cosmetic procedure which sculpts multiple areas of the body can help them towards achieving the body shape and size they desire, but that this is only the case if they combine such a procedure with a healthy diet and a positive exercise regime,” one physician quoted for the article states. “The majority of patients now understand that cosmetic surgery is not a quick fix but is something which, when delivered hand in hand with an overall healthy lifestyle, can help them towards achieving their goals.”
Here at Atagi Plastic Surgery & Atagi Skin Aesthetics, board-certified Denver plastic surgeon Dr. Tanya Atagi couldn’t agree more. We believe that cosmetic surgery can be an important tool for achieving the curves and confidence your desire, along with a commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
